Who Are We ?

Shamrock Travel  is  an Irish owned  and Irish operated  family business based at level 9, 310 King St ,Melbourne 3000 .The company has  been a respected member of the Australian Travel Industry for over 20 years.Managing Director  and owner operator, Paurick Dempsey established the company  in 1989.His relationship with operators of coach tours in Ireland dates back to 1980,when he worked in his family travel business  in Ireland.Paurick’s father Michael established one of Ireland’s first retail  travel agencies in 1958 and his  father and family still run that business to this day!Paurick came to Australia  in 1981  and has lived here ever since.He has never lost his passion for Ireland  and the success of his travel company over the past 20 years ,is due in no small way to this passion he has for his home Country.His relationship with the myriad of Irish based operators stretches back almost over 30 years!This allows Shamrock Travel a unique prespective when  arranging Irish tours for clients.If Shamrock Travel cannot source or arrange a particular event in Ireland ,then the chances are that noone can.One of their greatest achievements to date ,was arranging a private sitting with the then Irish Prime Minister Bertie Ahearn for a visiting group of Australians!!
